SICT recognizes working mothers who drive the country’s development / @SICT_mx

#SICT.- On Mother’s Day, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT), headed by Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, recognizes the dedication, talent, and commitment of all the mothers who are part of the agency for their daily work that drives the country’s development.

«It’s time for women. I didn’t arrive alone, we all arrived,» a phrase from President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, which the head of the SICT highlighted, and in this totality, he referred to «a centuries-old struggle for equality and women’s rights.»

Let us remember that, throughout history, women have played an important role in building our country and that with their perseverance and talent, they have transformed the industry.

Today, we see the mothers who are part of the SICT designing, planning, managing, and supervising every stage of Mexico’s most important infrastructure projects, while also taking care of their families.

Her legacy lives on in every woman who works with passion: in the flag bearers who protect the highways, in the engineers who design roads and bridges, in the residents who oversee each construction project, and in the road workers who tirelessly travel the country.

Each one, from her own position, builds progress and well-being on the Second Floor of the Fourth Transformation.

To all those women who build with their hearts, thank you for combining the responsibility of being mothers with the vocation of public service.
