#Naucalpan, #Edoméx.- Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez, along with Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez, led an unprecedented event in the State of Mexico, launching 250 new units that will reinforce and strengthen the security actions of the nascent Municipal Guard in Naucalpan, with increased police presence in densely populated neighborhoods and streamlining response times to citizen emergencies.
As part of a working tour by the Governor of the State of Mexico to the municipality of Naucalpan, the mayor received Teacher Delfina Gómez Álvarez in Naucalli Park, where he thanked her for her presence and for the coordination with the state government to work for the common good.
Montoya Márquez emphasized that the change to the Municipal Guard is not only a name change, but also a vision of social proximity, with the officers being made available to the community. He emphasized that, with the new acquisitions, the current number of patrol cars will increase from 160 to more than 400, which will allow for greater police presence in the communities and reduce response times.
In Naucalli Park, 100 Maverick patrol cars, 50 Haval patrol cars, 32 Bronco patrol cars, 18 Ford Explorer patrol cars, 50 BMW 800cc dual-purpose motorcycle patrol cars, and six high-tech drones were launched. 2,143 tactical uniforms, 360 ballistic vests, and 463 radios were also delivered to members of the police force. The new units are equipped with cutting-edge technology and strategic monitoring tools.
The mayor explained that, as part of the Security with Everything Strategy, re-sectorization work has been carried out to improve security and minimize crime. At the same time, he asked the members of the Municipal Guard to value teamwork and not fail the people of Naucalpan, to value the trust placed in them and the support they will continue to receive.
