Tlalnepantla firefighters trained against industrial fires / @RacielPerezC_ @Gob_Tlalne

#Tlalnepantla, #Edoméx.- With the commitment to strengthen industrial emergency response capabilities, personnel from the Municipal Directorate of Civil Protection and Integrated Risk Management participated in training focused on the formation of industrial fire brigades that took place at the Training Institute (INCAP) located in Tizayuca, Hidalgo.

The head of the agency Mara Pamela Arreguin Vazquez said that on the instructions of the Municipal President Raciel Perez Cruz, the Vulcans attended the course called ‘Industrial Fire Brigade Technician Technician IFBT’ (Industrial Fire Brigade Technician IFBT for its acronym in English).

This course is based on the NFPA 1081 standard and teaches essential knowledge and skills to respond to fire emergencies in industrial facilities and factories.

Arreguin Vazquez pointed out that Tlalnepantla has a significant number of industrial buildings and buildings of this type, so it is important that staff know the protocols for action in case of any emergency that may arise.

The training covered the use of protection and extinguishing equipment, combat strategies, emergency and safety procedures at the scene, fire theory, handling of hoses, nozzles and extinguishing agents.

Likewise, live fire training and emergency simulations, confidence and safety development; introduction to the fire brigade; fire theory; scene safety; use of fire extinguishers, equipment and tools; fire prevention, control and extinguishing; evacuation procedures and first aid were also carried out.

The Government of Tlalnepantla, headed by Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz, recognises the importance of this type of initiative to strengthen civil protection and reaffirms its commitment to the ongoing training of its operational personnel.
