Entronque Vallarta is 50% complete and will benefit more than 450,000 people in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT) reports 50 percent completion of the Vallarta Junction, which will strategically connect Bahía de Banderas, in Nayarit, and Puerto Vallarta, in Jalisco, considered two of the main tourist destinations in the Mexican Pacific.

The construction of this important road junction will accommodate the daily traffic of more than 60,000 vehicles, thanks to two connecting roads (gazas) with a length of 1,300 meters and complementary roads of 3,000 meters.

This will streamline vehicular traffic on Federal Highway 200 and the Jala-Puerto Vallarta Highway. It will also contribute to faster and safer travel for thousands of users.

Once completed, it will save 30 minutes between the two tourist destinations, benefiting more than 450,000 people. Furthermore, 357 direct jobs and 1,423 indirect jobs have been created during its construction.

This project will connect directly to the 173-kilometer Jala-Puerto Vallarta Highway, inaugurated last December by the Mexican Government. This highway includes a 5-kilometer branch connecting to Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
