Monterrey prioritizes cleaning of grates due to recent rains

#Monterrey, #N.L.- Due to the rains recorded in the city, cleaning and dredging work on storm drains has been intensified.

From May 1 to 20, more than 1,600 pieces were treated, removing more than 1,100 tons of trash from the streets using the hydrojet.

This machine provides consistent and rapid response; this Friday alone, 53 manholes were cleared and more than 12 tons of trash were removed by the hydrojet.

The manual work performed by members of the Public Services Department is also included.

At the intersection of Fidel Velázquez and Copán, a large amount of trash was removed, so we reiterate the call to the community to avoid littering the streets, thereby preventing the clogging of drains and storm drains.
