#Irapuato, #Gto.- Irapuato is consolidating its position as an attractive and reliable municipality for new investment. An example of this is the opening of the auto parts company TYW Manufacturing México, which invested $50 million to establish its business in the city and will generate 650 jobs for women and 350 for men.

Lorena Alfaro García, mayor, expressed her gratitude for the company’s trust in Irapuato, as it is a privilege to host global companies. She also stated that this opening consolidates Chinese investment and demonstrates that the city is a strategic destination for industrial and economic development.

«Today, Guanajuato is a powerhouse in the automotive sector, and we will continue to climb the ladder because the People’s Government, led by our Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, is doing strategic work to encourage growth and attract new investment, as well as the establishment and expansion of companies,» she stated.

The President of Irapuato recognized each and every worker in this organization, as well as all those who work in the automotive sector, as their contribution is key to the production of specialized components that make possible the assembly of every vehicle manufactured in our state.

Alfaro García highlighted the interest of the Administration she leads in establishing international cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, specifically with Heilongjiang Province, to generate projects that promote the economic, social, and cultural development of the city.

Claudia Cristina Villaseñor Aguilar, State Secretary of Economy, highlighted the importance of investment in the auto parts sector, as they are fundamental to Guanajuato’s economy. More than 10 Chinese companies have already established operations in Guanajuato, generating more than 5,000 jobs and investing more than $900 million in Irapuato, León, and Silao.
