#FederalGovernment, #Mexico.- From Chilpancingo, Guerrero, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced a historic investment of 10.79 billion pesos in additional road infrastructure as part of the Acapulco Transforms With You program, which includes additional actions to achieve the rehabilitation of the state following Hurricanes Otis and John.

“We are working on the Acapulco Transforms With You program. It’s a very important project, involving various projects. It involves drinking water, drainage, dredging, a garbage separation plant, investment in all the water treatment plants, a Marinabus that we recently inaugurated, and various actions we are carrying out.

“In total, this year is a historic investment in roads; an additional 10.79 billion pesos for the state of Guerrero that we are making to help everyone,” he reported as part of his national accountability tour in the field during his first year in office.

He explained that 5,320 projects are being carried out to repair the damage caused by the hurricanes that hit the coast of Guerrero, including the reconstruction and modernization of 29 damaged bridges and 40 new bridges throughout the state.
