#SEP, #México.- To prevent the consumption of addictive substances, promote healthy habits and generate a culture of peace and coexistence, the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), headed by Mario Delgado Carrillo, held this Saturday the second National Day for Peace and Against Addictions, as part of the preventive and permanent campaign Fentanyl Kills You. Stay away from drugs. Choose to be happy.
In the presence of more than 1,200 students, teachers, mothers, fathers and families, gathered at the White Eagles soccer field of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), in the Santo Tomás Unit, Delgado Carrillo reported that the prevention strategies promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo have reached more than 10 million secondary and high school students.
In an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm, and accompanied by the Undersecretary of Higher Secondary Education, Tania Rodríguez Mora, the head of the SEP assured that the meeting reaffirms the commitment of the Government of Mexico to eradicate the consumption of addictive substances in educational communities and, at the same time, is a meeting platform between cultural, sports, recreational and pedagogical activities that take place in schools across the country.
“All these expressions build better, more united and stronger societies; societies that live in peace and wellbeing,” he emphasized.
