“We are in a process of transformation and education is the instrument to achieve it,” said Julio Menchaca Salazar, Governor of Hidalgo, when he led the delivery of the new two-story teaching building at the Universidad Tecnológica de Tula-Tepeji (UTTT), which will serve two thousand students with an investment of 60 million 398 thousand 588 pesos.

Before members of the UTTT student community, the President of Hidalgo explained that the new building will have 22 equipped classrooms, a computer lab, high-tech computers, medical simulators, an auditorium, specialized spaces, medical offices, anatomy labs and a surgical unit to consolidate the Bachelor’s Degree in Surgeon and Midwife.

As part of his visit, Menchaca Salazar witnessed the symbolic delivery of basic level certificates and economic support for the Scholarships for the Transformation of Students of Higher Education Institutions, which represent an investment of 8 million 382 thousand pesos.

In addition, the Chief Executive highlighted the investment of 9 million 871 thousand pesos to ensure the connectivity of 6 Hidalgo High School campuses, located in the Tula-Tepeji region, as well as the delivery of more than 500 tablets for high school students and the construction of 3 STEM laboratories.
