The Foreign Ministry carries out various activities within the framework of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy / @SRE_mx >>>

#SRE, #México .- On the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, established by the UN General Assembly in its resolution A/RES/76/269, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) held a series of events and meetings to give visibility to and promote the full participation of women in Mexican foreign policy.

Meetings were also held to evaluate the instrumentalization of the Feminist Foreign Policy.

On June 24, the Women in Diplomacy: Mexico+50 conference was held, with the participation of Mexican academics and female officials.

The exchange made it possible to take stock of the progress made in women’s rights since 1975, highlight the importance of making women’s participation in diplomacy more visible, promote intergenerational dialogue, and reaffirm Mexico’s role as a key player in the promotion of gender equality through foreign policy.
