Construction of the “Rosario Castellanos” National University begins in Teolocholco, Tlaxcala  / @SICT_mx >>>

#SICT,  #México.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) led the groundbreaking for the construction of the “Rosario Castellanos” National University, Teolocholco campus, which will benefit more than 900 young Tlaxcalans in the first generation.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the undersecretary of Infrastructure of the SICT, Juan Carlos Fuentes Orrala, accompanied by the governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, said that the construction of this university campus is part of the federal government’s commitment to the expansion of secondary and higher education in the country.

He emphasized that the work will be carried out in two stages, with a surface area of over 12,000 square meters.

In this first stage, four buildings will be built: one with 20 classrooms with capacity for 800 students; another with four laboratories, two computer areas and two specialty areas; the third will be an auditorium with capacity for 300 people; and the fourth building will house a library and administrative area,» said Fuentes Orrala.

“It is an integral work that dignifies access to education,” emphasized the SICT official.
