#Tlalnepantla, #EstadoDeMéxico.– Women have a space where their empowerment is sought in order to achieve economic and emotional autonomy, this is the LIBRE Center located in the Constitución de 1917 neighborhood, a public policy that is promoted by the Federal Government presided by Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo for the welfare of all Mexican women.
Representing the President of the Republic, the head of the Secretariat for Women of the Government of Mexico Citlalli Hernandez Mora stressed that since the arrival of Claudia Sheinbaum at the head of the National Executive Branch, the instruction was to prevent and eradicate gender violence, so initiatives such as Centro LIBRE for its acronym: Libertad, Igualdad, Bienestar, Redes, Emancipación.
“We have the first woman president and the first woman governor of the entity, it is time for Women, we have to bet on a Mexico in which girls and boys grow up with the clarity that we are all equal, men and women are called to build a new relationship as a society and not to normalize gender violence”, she expressed.
The Federal Government official invited the attendees to be part of the program “Tejedoras de la Patria” (Weavers of the Homeland), these are organized women who generate links with the federal and state Women’s Secretariats that participate in training, workshops and activities that are replicated in their communities.
The Mayor of Tlalnepantla, Raciel Pérez Cruz, pointed out that Centro LIBRE is a space created with the firm determination of the Mexican State to settle a historical debt with the women of the country and represents a new stage in the struggle for equality, justice and a dignified life for them.

She also recognized the creation of the PAIBM (Integral Support Program for the Well-being of Women), an initiative with a cross-cutting approach that aims to promote access to health, guarantee opportunities in education, training for women and eradication of any form of violence against women.
Mónica Chávez Durán, head of the Women’s Secretariat of the State Government, spoke on behalf of the Governor of the State, Mrs. Delfina Gómez Álvarez, about the importance of promoting empowerment, autonomy and guaranteeing access to a life free of violence for all women and pointed out that in the State of Mexico there will be a total of 37 spaces like this one.
She added that the Government of the State of Mexico joins the actions in favor of women with the program “Unidas Contigo” which grants resources of three thousand pesos per quarter for three periods to women over 18 years of age who face a situation of violence and have a legal sponsorship in force.
