#SecretaríaDelBienestar, #México.– In order to ensure that no one is left out, in Sonora, mobile brigades with health workers from the Salud Casa por Casa program will visit homes in the mountainous area to visit the elderly and people with disabilities to follow up on their health, informed the Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes.
“In Sonora we will have two models of attention, house to house with our health servers, but there will also be mobile brigades for the mountainous area, for the area where there are no doctors, there are no doctors, we will go there in brigade with a small truck, the medical team to attend, wherever they live, we will go to the last corner of the state of Sonora, which is very wide, very deep,” she added.
She also explained that to date 1.5 million beneficiaries of the Pensiones para el Bienestar have been visited in their homes thanks to Casa por Casa.
Ariadna Montiel pointed out that the governments of the Fourth Transformation are the first and only ones in the history of Mexico that have set their eyes on people with disabilities “we are very pleased that the President has created this program for these two sectors of the population that have this vulnerability due to their age or condition”.
