Secretary Marcelo Ebrard announces investments of more than $612 million for the Wellness Centers in Tlaxcala and Puebla / @m_ebrard @SE_mx >>>

#SecretaryOf Economy, #México.- Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard made a working tour of Tlaxcala and Puebla, where he signed agreements with Governor Lorena Cuéllar and Governor Alejandro Armenta, respectively, to launch Wellness Hubs in both states.

In both Tlaxcala and Puebla, Secretary Ebrard reviewed the projects for the construction of Wellness Hubs with local authorities and spoke with committed and potential investors. Investments already secured for both states exceed $612 million.

The Wellness Hubs are industrial parks that will be developed taking into account the strengths and vocations of different regions of the country, attracting investment through fiscal incentives and various types of support. The Hubs are a pillar of President Claudia Sheinbaum’s Plan Mexico and aim to promote employment, increase production, and contribute to the substitution of Asian imports with domestic suppliers.

On Friday, Secretary Ebrard and Governor Cuéllar signed the agreement formalizing the Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Development Hub for Well-being.

“Here you have 53 hectares, as Lorena already said, we will have an investment of more than $500 million in the first phase. We are talking about 80% of the surface area committed to this date with different companies,” said Secretary Ebrard.
