Tlalnepantla strengthens the «Free Street Operation» to improve mobility and clean public streets / @RacielPerezC_ @Gob_Tlalne >>

#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- «Bienes mostrencos», rubble on public streets, and abandoned cars are some of the objects that the Tlalnepantla government, through the Department of Environmental Sustainability, is removing from the streets of Our City to improve the urban image of the communities.

The head of the department, Mitzi Anda Rubalcava, indicated that, following instructions from Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz, the «Free Street Operation» is being implemented permanently so that citizens can travel safely on the roads without obstacles that would prevent them from driving or parking their vehicles.

Last weekend, the Department of Environmental Sustainability removed pallets and a box of pallets on Francisco I. Madero Street in the town of San Lucas Patoni, following a request from residents who had been ignored by the previous municipal authorities.

This abandoned space became a source of insecurity and unhealthiness and fostered the presence of harmful wildlife, a situation that caused significant impacts on the residents of this community.

It’s worth mentioning that neighbors reported that the picket fence was being used by people who came to consume drugs, a situation that alerted residents, as it became a dangerous spot for families and those passing by.

After listening to the residents’ legitimate demands, Mitzi Anda Rubalcava and her team went to the site to remove more than two tons of solid waste, clearing the street.

Residents acknowledged the work of municipal authorities in restoring peace of mind to their families. For her part, the head of the Environmental Sustainability Department called on citizens to report these types of spaces that disrupt the well-being of communities.

He added that Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz is tasked with implementing the «Free Street Operation» in East and West Tlalnepantla, as part of the security strategy being implemented in the municipality, in addition to working toward the goal of recovering public spaces for the benefit of the residents of Our City.
