#AlcaldíaMiguelHidalgo, #México.- Through a Tourism Promotion Collaboration Agreement, the Miguel Hidalgo Mayor’s Office and the Municipality of Aguascalientes strengthened ties to initiate a tourism, cultural, and commercial exchange benefiting the residents of both states.

Mauricio Tabe Echartea, Mayor of Miguel Hidalgo, and the Mayor of Aguascalientes, Leonardo Montañez Castro, signed the agreement, which shares the positive experiences of both locations. The municipality, «which has the best of Mexico City,» contributes its wealth to the Aguascalientes region, which has positioned itself in medical tourism.

Tabe said this is another step in the collaboration between Aguascalientes and the Miguel Hidalgo Mayor’s Office, taking municipal management to the next level.

«Aguascalientes is setting an example and is taking on challenges that no other municipality in the country has previously undertaken: to become a benchmark for medical tourism, a benchmark for medical care in the country,» he stated.

The mayor of Miguel Hidalgo mentioned that this is a call to the population to use the health services provided in Aguascalientes, because the things done well in other parts of the country should be appreciated.

«This entire connection demonstrates the commitment we, as humanist governments, have to put people and their rights at the center, and also to find the path to success through economic development and employment. There is no other way but by promoting economic activity, tourism, and employment, as communities and society can move forward,» he emphasized.
