#TlalnepantlaDeBaz, #StateOfMexico.- This Monday, the student community of Tlalnepantla returned to the classrooms. To ensure everyone’s safety, the Municipal Police deployed the «Safe School» operation in communities in the East and West, allowing for a safe return without incident.

Following instructions from Mayor Raciel Pérez Cruz, starting at 5:00 a.m., uniformed officers patrolled high-traffic schools on foot and in vehicles to prevent any crimes.

The head of the General Police Station for Proximity and Citizen Security, Jorge Alberto Gómez Estrella, reported that this operation will be carried out during the morning and afternoon shifts. He added that approximately 350 educational institutions have at least two security personnel to ensure the safety of the student community.

He added that Municipal Traffic officers joined these efforts to speed up traffic and avoid traffic jams so that everyone can arrive on time for their first day of school.

Students and teachers at the Official Preparatory School Annex to the Tlalnepantla Normal School in the San Juan Ixtacala community noticed the presence of the Municipal Police and indicated they felt protected by the uniformed officers present at the scene.

At the Moisés Sáenz Secondary School, located in the Valle Dorado neighborhood, security officers accompanied students and parents on this significant day for those beginning a new educational stage.

It is worth mentioning that the «Safe School» operation is carried out regularly in elementary, middle, and high schools with the aim of preventing administrative violations or any type of crime that harms those preparing for a better future in the classroom.
