#Tecámac, #Edoméx.-  Over the past month, the Tecámac Civil Guard managed to stop 19 attempted break-ins in various subdivisions and housing complexes. The timely intervention of the officers allowed families to keep their homes and receive institutional support during the process.

Since the implementation of the Specialized Program for the Prevention and Protection of Real Estate Property in 2023, 129 homes have been recovered. From January to date, 146 calls for help from affected citizens have been answered.

Following instructions from Municipal President Rosi Wong Romero, various areas of the local government are participating in a coordinated manner to address these cases. Civil Protection, ODAPAS, the Treasury, Cadastre, and Urban Development are acting in accordance with a protocol that seeks to protect the heritage of Tecámac residents.

As of last week, the authorities reported 33 arrests of people suspected of being responsible for break-ins. The Command Center reported that May was the month with the highest number of reports, accounting for 23 of the cases received this year.

Homes are returned to their rightful owners once they demonstrate legal ownership and compliance with their tax obligations. The areas with the most recovered properties are Valle de San Pedro, Los Héroes Tecámac, Sierra Hermosa, and Rancho la Capilla.
