Modernización de la carretera Bavispe-Nuevo Casas Grandes beneficiará a 116 mil habitantes / @SICT_mx >>>

#MinistryOfCommunicationsAndTransportation, #México.- The Mexican Government’s Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT) reports that the modernization of the Bavispe-Nuevo Casas Grandes highway, which will connect Sonora with Chihuahua, continues.

Along 69 kilometers (km) and with an investment of 1.859 billion pesos (mp). Various works are being carried out in the area, including repairs to the asphalt and drainage system, benefiting 116,000 residents.

The highway, being developed by the SICT, led by Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, will be completed by the end of the year and will generate 18,000 jobs. Its operation will improve travel times and boost economic activity in the region.

The project is being carried out in two stages. The Chihuahua government is responsible for approximately 51 km, while the Sonora government is responsible for 18 km.
