#FederalGovernment, #Mexico.-  In Morelos, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo concluded her unprecedented accountability tour of the states to present the progress of her first year in office. She noted that next Sunday, October 5th, she will conclude her visit with a massive event in Mexico City’s Zócalo.

Today, we conclude our September visit to all the states of the Republic. On September 1st, we presented our report. You know that Presidents, in this case the President, present our report on September 1st; as the Constitution says, every year we have to be accountable to the people of Mexico. So we did; we delivered our report to the Congress of the Union and delivered a message to the nation from the National Palace.

“But on this occasion, I made the decision to visit all the states. Because yes, Mexico City is the political center of the country, but we must be accountable in every state of the Republic so that everyone knows what we did in Morelos, what we are going to do in Morelos, and what we are doing,” he reported.

He announced that in Morelos, 498,873 people receive one of the Mexican Government’s Welfare Programs, through an annual investment of 13.545 billion pesos (mp).

He detailed that 222,484 are beneficiaries of the Pension for the Welfare of Older Adults; 13,538 of the Pension for the Welfare of People with Disabilities; 21,408 of the Youth Building the Future program; 11,020 of the Youth Writing the Future program; 53,518 of the Benito Juárez scholarship; and 35,813 of the scholarship for girls and boys. Primary; 1,036 supports for girls and boys from 0 to 4 years old; 16,539 for Production for Well-being; 16,335 with Free Fertilizers; 4,898 with Sowing Life; 147,514 with Milk for Well-being; 553 from Bienpesca; 647 basic education schools and 35 high schools receive support with the School is Ours program. In addition to the new programs Pension Women Well-being, the Rita Cetina scholarship, House by House Health and direct resources for indigenous and Afro-Mexican communities.
