The local administration is meticulously preparing for a festival that will harmoniously blend colour, security, music, and the immense tradition characteristic of this iconic city. This meticulous planning ensures the celebration serves as a significant meeting point for both visiting families and local residents.
«This 2 November, experience the ‘Desfile de Muertos & Catrinas’ with us, a celebration that unites locals and visitors alike in a tribute brimming with life, art, and memory with a Sanmiguelense essence,» urged the Mayor of San Miguel. This singular event has firmly established itself as a central activity for honouring the departed, transforming the city’s thoroughfares into a magnificent stage that proudly showcases Mexico’s profound cultural richness and vibrancy.

The impressive procession is scheduled for 2 November at 6:00 p.m., offering citizens and tourists the chance to either witness or join the majestic parade as it traverses the city’s main arteries. The route is set to commence at El Cardo, proceeding along Ancha de San Antonio, Zacateros, Canal, Hernández Macías, Insurgentes, Pepe Llanos, Mesones, Núñez, and San Francisco, before culminating dramatically in the Plaza Principal.
