Mariana Mayen and Pachuca DIF System Advances Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration / @JorgeAlbertoR @DIF_Pachuca

#Pachuca, #EstateOfHidalgo, #México.- The Pachuca DIF System, led by its president Mariana Mayen Lozada, took part in the Second Ordinary Session 2025 of the Transparency Committee of the Municipality of Pachuca de Soto, where progress and results in access to information and accountability were presented. During her address, Mayen Lozada reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to promoting a transparent, people-centred public administration focused on improving the wellbeing of the most vulnerable groups in society.

The president highlighted that within the DIF, “our priority is to promote, respect and uphold the rights of children, older adults, people with disabilities and women facing situations of violence or marginalisation.” She emphasised that the System encourages actions and services with a renewed approach to social assistance, aimed at fostering shared responsibility across society and moving collectively towards a common goal of inclusion and equality.

During the session, Mayor Jorge Alberto Reyes received a recognition for the municipality’s outstanding performance in transparency, reaffirming this administration’s commitment to honesty, openness and public trust. This achievement reflects the joint effort between the municipal government and social welfare institutions to strengthen a model of governance grounded in ethics, accountability and community participation.
