#Naucalpan, #StateOfMexico.- In less than two months since its launch on 4th September, the ‘Impulsando tu Salud’ programme has enrolled over 2,719 people via the Municipal DIF System. Naucalpan residents and their families now access a wide range of essential, free medical services. To date, this vital social initiative has surpassed 10,000 healthcare appointments, clearly demonstrating its high demand and the administration’s focus on bringing health services to the populace.
The ‘Impulsando tu Salud’ mobile unit recently completed its 16th day of operation in Calzada Guadalupe, San Rafael Chamapa 2a Section, ensuring that remote communities receive vital care. Residents benefited from complimentary services including general medicine, optometry, dentistry, laboratory tests, and a pharmacy service. Importantly, as a fundamental preventative measure, the unit also administered pneumonia and influenza vaccinations to those who requested them during the visit.
Addressing beneficiaries, Mayor Isaac Montoya explained that this effort aims to ease access for those unable to travel to the municipal centre, bringing care directly to the most distant communities. He noted the high-quality services provided, including «first-level health services, such as essential clinical laboratory tests,» and a supply of «around 200 medications». The Mayor also underlined the valuable benefit of two pairs of prescription glasses per year provided free of charge to all affiliated members.

Montoya stressed that the programme has already delivered 450 pairs of prescription glasses, with a further 200 awaiting collection, a service typically completed within two weeks of the eye examination. The Mayor emphasised the administration’s resolve: «we are going a little further to reach more of the population, especially in the most remote communities, ensuring that no one is excluded and that everyone has the right to health and disease prevention.»
Concluding the event, Mayor Isaac Montoya announced future infrastructure plans for Calzada Guadalupe, including the renewal of deteriorated road sections and the replacement of parts of the outdated hydraulic network. He also gave instructions for the refurbishment of the basketball and fast-football pitch to foster sport and social community cohesion. He reaffirmed that his government operates on the principle of «commanding by obeying» the people, and is committed to continuous improvement in security, noting the forthcoming graduation of 200 new municipal guard officers.
