#CuautitlánIzcalli, #StateOfMexico.- The Municipal President of Cuautitlán Izcalli, Daniel Serrano Palacios, chaired the Twenty-Eighth Public Session, during which the Council approved crucial reforms to two local ordinances. Both the Business Licence Regulations and the Municipal Organic Regulations were amended, aiming to streamline, update, and simplify the processes for issuing and revoking licences. These measures are designed to drive a more efficient and transparent administration, ultimately benefitting the local community.
The approved reforms are specifically targeted at reducing bureaucracy and ensuring that procedures are more accessible for both Izcalli residents and local investors. Crucially, the Council also authorised the establishment of the Municipal Business Licence Committee during the same session. This new committee will be tasked with evaluating the feasibility of operation for businesses dealing in the sale of alcoholic beverages, abattoirs, and economic units selling second-hand vehicles and auto parts.

The formation of this dedicated Committee is a key policy point that seeks to regulate the establishment and operation of businesses with a significant community impact. The action focuses on ensuring that these specific establishments strictly comply with all safety and social co-existence standards. The municipal government led by Daniel Serrano Palacios thus guarantees a closer and more rigorous oversight of high-impact commercial activities within the district.
Finally, the Council also sanctioned the decommissioning of 330 obsolete assets as part of the Annual Programme for the Final Disposal of Assets 2025. This decision complements the broader effort to achieve a more efficient administration by freeing up valuable resources and physical space. Through these wide-ranging reforms, the Cuautitlán Izcalli Municipal Government strengthens its institutional structure to promote orderly economic development.
